Green Snack at Highway Rest Stops – Bringing Clean Agricultural Products Closer to Vietnamese Consumers

In March 2025, Green Snack piloted a new distribution model by introducing its healthy dried fruit products at rest stops along the Hanoi–Hai Phong and Hanoi–Lao Cai expressways. After contacting and negotiating with rest stop managers, we successfully secured agreements with five snack stalls to carry products such as chewy dried longan, lychee, sweet potato, and dragon fruit.
Each product was packaged in eco-friendly kraft paper bags with a transparent window and a QR code for traceability. A Green Snack sticker added a friendly brand touch. Deliveries were made weekly, and after the first two months, each location averaged 70+ bags sold per month.
The strength of this model lies in the steady customer flow — from truck drivers and tourists to families on the road. These groups are drawn to clean, portable snacks as alternatives to traditional fried foods. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive: “The chewy longan tastes like candy but without sugar — great for older people.”
Encouraged by this success, Green Snack aims to expand to at least 10 additional rest stops across northern Vietnam by July 2025, transforming rest areas into storytelling hubs for clean agricultural products and the richness of seasonal harvests.
